Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Ben Zipkin and I live in Boston and work in the fields of interaction design and product design strategy. I was was born in Batavia, NY — right outside of Buffalo in the wilds of Western New York.

I attended the University of New Hampshire where I was active in student government and wrote a column for the school newspaper.

I moved to Boston after graduation and worked for number of companies including Arthur D. Little, Digitas, Renaissance Worldwide, and CMGi. I worked as a technology consultant, project manager, interactive producer, product manager, and developer.

In 2000 a college buddy and I founded RDVO. In the last seven years we’ve built the company into one of the leading digital design agencies in the Northeast, serving clients like Microsoft, Genzyme, Kodak, Procter & Gamble, Abbott Laboratories, and the MBTA. RDVO has won a number of major industry awards.

Outside of work, I live in Union Park in Boston’s South End. When I’m not working I enjoy dining out, movies, and hanging with pals.
